I have come to
dream away from you
For when I dream near you, with you
My dreams are mocked
I am not you, nor your wisdom
So why do you criticise, analyse
My dreams
Envisioned with my eyes
Felt with my heart
You know them not
Only your interpretation
Plagiarised in arrogance
I am not yet where you are
I have not travelled so far
Yet further than the one before me
I do not pretend
To understand his dreams
For they are his alone
I can appreciate what I do not know
Or feel
But it is unjustified
To judge my dreams
Thoughts or feelings
With your tools and understanding
For they are not yet mine
I will not ask you to wait for me
You have callings away from me
But if you cannot tolerate my ignorance now
Stand back and watch me grow
I will not share my dreams with you
And you will never know . . . .
